How to enable distraction-free mode on Daino Notes
Enable distraction-free mode in Daino Notes by clicking the Focus button in the top toolbar or using the keyboard shortcut Ctrl+Shift+F (Cmd+Shift+F on Mac). This mode hides the sidebar, toolbar, and other UI elements to provide a clean writing environment.
Prerequisites
- Have Daino Notes installed on your device
- Have an active Daino Notes account
- Be logged into your Daino Notes workspace
- Have at least one note created

Open your note

Focus button is not visible in the toolbar
Update Daino Notes to the latest version, or check if the button is hidden in the More Options (three dots) menu in the toolbar. You can also try resetting your toolbar layout in Settings > Interface.
Keyboard shortcut doesn't work
Make sure you're in a note editing view and not in the notes list. Check if the shortcut conflicts with other applications by testing it with Daino Notes as the active window. You can also customize shortcuts in Settings > Keyboard Shortcuts.
Can't access settings while in distraction-free mode
Exit distraction-free mode first by pressing Esc or the keyboard shortcut. Alternatively, right-click in the editor area to access a minimal context menu with essential options.
Distraction-free mode doesn't hide all elements
Go to Settings > Focus Mode and adjust which elements to hide during distraction-free mode. You can customize what stays visible, such as word count, minimal formatting options, or scroll bars.
