Common Issues & Troubleshooting
A/B testing option not available
Ensure you're on a GetResponse plan that includes A/B testing features. The Basic plan has limited A/B testing capabilities, while Plus and higher plans offer full functionality.
Test results show no significant difference
Your test variations may be too similar or your sample size too small. Try testing more distinct differences or increase your test group size to at least 1,000 subscribers per variant.
Test automatically sent winning version too early
Check your test duration settings - if set too short, GetResponse may declare a winner prematurely. Extend test duration to at least 4-6 hours for subject line tests and 12-24 hours for content tests.
Unable to see detailed A/B test reports
Navigate to Reports → Email Marketing and select your specific A/B test campaign. If data still doesn't appear, wait 15-30 minutes after sending as reports may have a slight delay.
