How to invite team members on Intercom
To invite team members on Intercom, navigate to Settings > General > Teammates, click 'Invite teammate', enter their email address, assign a role, and send the invitation. New members will receive an email to join your workspace.

Invite teammate button is grayed out or missing
Verify you have Admin or Owner permissions and that your Intercom plan has available seats. Contact your workspace owner if you need permission upgrades.
Team member didn't receive invitation email
Check spam/junk folders and verify the email address is correct. From the Teammates page, click the three dots next to the pending invitation and select Resend invitation.
Invitation link expired or shows error
Cancel the expired invitation from your Teammates page and send a new invitation. Invitations typically expire after 7 days for security reasons.
Cannot assign specific teams during invitation
Ensure the teams exist in your workspace under Settings > General > Teams. You can also assign team memberships after the user accepts the invitation and becomes active.
