How to use frame-by-frame editor on Pimosa
Access Pimosa's frame-by-frame editor by selecting your video and clicking the Frame Editor tool. Use arrow keys or the frame navigation controls to move through individual frames and make precise edits to specific moments in your video.
Prerequisites
- Pimosa account with editing access
- Video file uploaded to Pimosa workspace

Step-by-Step Instructions
Open the Frame-by-Frame Editor
Ctrl+F (Windows) or Cmd+F (Mac). The video will switch to frame-by-frame editing mode with enhanced timeline controls.Navigate Between Frames
Set Precise Cut Points

Common Issues & Troubleshooting
Frame navigation is laggy or unresponsive
Clear your browser cache and ensure you have sufficient RAM available. Try reducing video preview quality in Settings > Playback Quality to Medium or Low.
Cannot see frame numbers in the timeline
Enable frame number display by right-clicking the timeline and selecting Show Frame Numbers. Alternatively, go to View > Timeline Options > Frame Display.
Frame cuts are not appearing at the correct position
Ensure you're zoomed in enough on the timeline for precise positioning. Use Ctrl+Mouse Wheel to zoom in further and verify the playhead is on the exact frame before making cuts.
Exported video has frame synchronization issues
Check that your original video has a consistent frame rate. Go to Project Settings > Frame Rate and ensure it matches your source video's frame rate before exporting.
