Common Issues & Troubleshooting
Cursor animations don't appear in preview
Ensure the Cursor layer is enabled in your timeline and the animation type isn't set to None. Check that your recording actually contains cursor movement data.
Cursor appears too small or large after adjustments
Go back to the Appearance section in the Cursor panel and readjust the Size slider. Remember that cursor size is relative to your screen resolution.
Click animations are out of sync with actual clicks
This usually happens with imported videos. Try disabling and re-enabling Auto-detect clicks in the Cursor panel, or manually adjust click timing in the timeline.
Cursor trail effect looks choppy or pixelated
Reduce the trail length in the Appearance settings or disable hardware acceleration in Screen Studio > Preferences > Performance if the issue persists during export.
