Common Issues & Troubleshooting
Preset not saving all settings
Ensure you've configured all settings before creating the preset. Some settings may need to be explicitly saved - check Advanced Settings and verify all panels show your desired configuration.
Shared preset file won't import
Verify the .sspx file isn't corrupted and that the recipient has a compatible Screen Studio version. Try re-exporting the preset or sharing through the built-in Share Preset feature instead.
Preset missing after update
Check the Preset Manager and look in Archived Presets. Some presets may be automatically archived after software updates if they contain incompatible settings. You can usually restore or recreate them.
Cannot upload to community library
Ensure you're logged into your Screen Studio account and have a stable internet connection. Check that your preset doesn't violate community guidelines and includes appropriate descriptions and tags.
