Shadow effects not visible in preview
Ensure the recording layer is selected and Enable Shadow is checked. Increase shadow Opacity and Distance values to make shadows more visible.
Shadows appear pixelated or blocky
Increase the Blur Radius value and ensure Preview Quality is set to 100% in the top toolbar. Lower quality previews can make shadows appear pixelated.
Shadow settings reset after closing project
Save your project using Cmd+S before closing. Shadow settings are saved with the project file, not globally. Consider creating a Template with your preferred shadow settings.
Performance lag when using multiple shadow effects
Reduce Preview Quality to 50% while editing. Use Proxy Mode in preferences for better performance, and render shadows only during final export.
