Screen Studio shows a black screen when recording
Check that screen recording permissions are properly enabled in System Preferences > Security & Privacy > Privacy > Screen Recording. Restart Screen Studio after enabling permissions.
No audio is being recorded
Verify your audio source settings in Screen Studio. For system audio, ensure your Mac's output volume is up. For microphone recording, check that the correct input device is selected and microphone permissions are granted.
Recording appears laggy or choppy
Lower your recording quality to 720p or reduce the frame rate to 24fps. Close other resource-intensive applications and ensure you have sufficient free disk space for the recording file.
Screen Studio won't start recording
Restart the application and check for updates. Ensure you have enough free disk space (at least 1GB). If the issue persists, try restarting your Mac and launching Screen Studio again.
