Step-by-Step Instructions

Import or select your video clip

Open Screen Studio and locate your video in the timeline. If you need to import a new video, click the Import button or drag your video file directly into the timeline area. Your clip will appear as a blue bar in the timeline with audio waveforms visible below.

You can also record directly in Screen Studio by clicking the red record button if you haven't created your clip yet.

Position the playhead for trimming

Click and drag the white vertical playhead to the exact position where you want to make your cut. Use the preview window to see the current frame. You can also click anywhere on the timeline to jump the playhead to that position, or use the left/right arrow keys for frame-by-frame precision.
