How to add cards to lists on Trello
Adding cards to Trello lists is simple - click the Add a card button at the bottom of any list, enter your card title, and press Enter or click Add card. You can also use the plus icon or drag and drop cards between lists.

Step-by-Step Instructions
Navigate to your Trello board
Locate the target list
Click 'Add a card'
Enter the card title

Save the card

Common Issues & Troubleshooting
Add a card button is not visible
Check that you have edit permissions for the board. If you're a board member, try refreshing the page. Board observers cannot add cards - contact the board admin to upgrade your permissions.
Card doesn't save when clicking Add card
Ensure you have a stable internet connection. Try refreshing the page and adding the card again. If the problem persists, check if the board has reached any limits or try logging out and back into Trello.
Cannot find the list where I added the card
Use the search function at the top of the board to search for your card title. The card might have been added to a different list than intended. You can also check if any list filters are active that might be hiding the card.
Card appears in wrong position in the list
Drag and drop the card to the correct position within the list. Cards are added to the bottom of lists by default, but you can reorder them by dragging. Check if the list has any sorting rules applied that might affect card positioning.
