Step-by-Step Instructions

Open Your Form
Open your form from your Workspace to access the form builder interface.

Locate Endings Section
In the Content panel on the left-hand side, find the Endings section.

Add End Screen
Click the
+ button next to Endings and select End Screen to create a new thank you screen. You can add multiple End Screens per form.

Customize Screen Text
Click on the End Screen text to edit it. Type
@ in the text field to use Recall information for dynamic content like answers, scores, prices, or URL parameters.5
Configure Button Settings
In the Settings panel on the right, toggle the button on/off, change button text (default: "Create a typeform"), and note that text changes do not affect the link destination.
Available on Plus plan and above for advanced options.

Set Up Redirect
By default, the button redirects to Typeform's homepage. Enter a custom URL in the Redirect to URL field (plan-dependent). Enabling redirect on completion skips the End Screen entirely.
Use recall in URLs for personalized redirects, e.g., city-based pages.

Add Media
Add an image or video to your End Screen (one media type only, under 4MB, max width 800px for JPEG/PNG/GIF). Adjust position via layout options in the Question panel and add alt text for accessibility.

Set Up Logic for Multiple Screens
Use Logic tab for quizzes/scores: assign outcomes, score ranges, or branching to direct respondents to specific End Screens based on answers.
Knowledge quiz mode auto-populates score ranges.

Delete End Screen
Click the three dots next to the End Screen in the Content panel and select Delete. If all are deleted, a default themed screen appears.

Test Thoroughly
Preview the form, test live links, embeds (especially mobile/websites), and ensure logic flows work. Check Connect panel > Redirect on completion is disabled if needed.
For embeds, container settings may block display.
Common Issues & Troubleshooting
End Screen shows in preview but not live
Disable Connect panel > Redirect on completion, as it skips the screen. Test live link after saving.
Redirect skips thank you screen
Redirect on completion bypasses End Screens entirely—turn it off to display the screen.
End Screen not visible in embeds
Check website container settings or pop-up blockers, especially on mobile. Test thoroughly.
Logic jumps fail on End Screens
Use Statement Questions before End Screens for scored/conditional flows, or verify quiz/outcome setup.
Custom redirect option missing
Upgrade to Plus plan or higher, as advanced redirects are plan-limited.
