Step-by-Step Instructions

Access the Share panel
Open your Typeform in the form builder and click the Share button in the top right corner (visible in Content, Workflow, Connect, and Share panels). This publishes the form live if it isn't already; subsequent edits change it to Publish edits.

Copy the shareable link
In the Share panel (left side shows sharing options, right side shows settings), click Copy link to get the direct URL in format
https://yourworkspace.typeform.com/to/[formID]. Anyone with this link can access and respond to the form. Test the link in incognito mode to ensure it works.

Generate a QR code
In the Share panel, click the QR code icon (code icon) to create a scannable QR code for the form link. Download or share it directly for easy mobile access.

Share via social media
In the Share panel, click icons for Facebook, LinkedIn, X (Twitter), Buffer, or Linktr.ee to share directly to those platforms.
Ensure meta image and description are set for better previews.

Customize the URL
In the Share panel, click Customize > Edit, enter a descriptive string (e.g.,
customer-feedback-2026), then Save. Requires custom subdomain; default uses auto-generated form ID. Available on Plus or higher plans.

Adjust link settings and meta info
In the Share panel right side menu, upload or design a meta image (via Canva), edit meta description, toggle Show in search results (default off for Google indexing), or customize URL end.

Embed on a website
In the Share panel, select Embed in a web page (left side). Choose Standard embed, Popup, Slider, or Embed SDK. Preview, then copy HTML like

Embed in an email
In the Share panel, select Embed in an email or click the email icon to open your default email client with the form link pre-inserted. Use email tools for hyperlinks if needed.

Common Issues & Troubleshooting
"No healthy upstream" error when generating/sharing link
Typeform server outage; wait for resolution (hours), check status page/community, test in incognito after.
Link not clickable or no preview in emails/messengers (plain text URL, missing meta)
Edit URL preview in Share panel: upload meta image via Canva, customize description, use hyperlink tools.
Access restricted: "Sorry, you can't access this typeform until its creator says so"
Ensure form is published (click Share or Publish edits); check share options and permissions.
Old URL/name previews on social media after customization
Republish form, clear cache, re-share; verify workspace name and subdomain updates.
